Eldhose Eldhose K.V is an avid and highly experienced ornithologist residing within the vicinity of the world famous Thattekkadu Bird Sanctuary in Central Kerala. He is expert on the avifauna of southern India and he has been guiding birders for 15 years.

In 1999, Eldhose had the opportunity to assist in the production of the landmark BBC series, "The Life of Birds". He identified the habitat and three nests of the elusive Rufous Woodpecker. In appreciation of his knowledge and effort, Sir David Attenburough gifted Eldhose with a pair of binoculars which Eldhose highly cherishes needless to say.
Eldhose's bird guiding business supports many families in their local community (guides, cooks, drivers ... etc.). Moreoever, Eldhose sets aside a certain percentage of his income to buy up, protect and re-plant agricultural land in his area.

Sunil Kumar Since 1995 Sunil has been leading birding as well as tranquility trekking tours in his native Himalayan area of Nainital. As an experienced professional local birder, Sunil has extensive knowledge of the region and its fauna. He specializes in tailor-made itineraries to suit the birder and their target species. Sunil is approved by K.M.V.N. (unit of tourism Uttarakhand).

Nainital is an officially notified bird Sanctuary and ideal place to pursue the delights of Himalayan birding. A check list of almost 150 species can be spotted here, most of which are special and unique. Known as a paradise of birds, Nainital and the region of Kumaon offer you a wonderful natural experience, no matter what type of bird watching trek you decide to take.
